Jaipur, India · Final-Year BBA Student

I get genuinely excited about what makes a brand
click with people — and I love figuring out why.

I'm Lakshya Goyal, a final-year BBA student specializing in New Age Sales & Marketing at JECRC University, Jaipur. I dig into digital presence, competitor positioning, and customer behaviour to find the gap between what a brand does well and what it's failing to say online.

What I Do

Four things I actually know how to do

🔍

Digital Marketing Audits

Auditing a brand's website, Google Business Profile, SEO, and social presence to find where digital friction is costing them footfall or sales.

📊

Competitor & Market Analysis

Benchmarking against direct and adjacent competitors, mapping positioning, and building SWOT frameworks that lead to real recommendations.

🎯

Growth & Content Strategy

Turning audit findings into a prioritised roadmap — content pillars, quick wins, and long-term plays mapped against business impact.

📈

Analytics & Reporting

Comfortable in Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and Power BI to turn raw numbers into a KPI framework people can actually track.

Let's Talk

Open to internships and entry-level roles in digital marketing & growth.

I was born and raised in Ajmer, Rajasthan, in a family that valued honesty and hard work over shortcuts. Watching my father build everything from the ground up taught me that no challenge is bigger than the determination to work through it — and that mindset shaped how I approach everything since, from academics to the projects I choose to take on.

Choosing a BBA in New Age Sales & Marketing was a deliberate bet on understanding people, markets, and behaviour rather than just theory. I back that up with constant self-learning — certifications, digital tools, and a habit of picking apart how brands actually connect with people. If I had to describe myself in three words: determined, curious, resilient. I've also learned to trade perfectionism for consistency — progress beats a perfect plan that never ships.

Looking ahead, I want real corporate experience where I can contribute early, learn fast, and keep building toward a future in digital marketing, strategy, and eventually ventures of my own.

Curious Life Coffee Roasters — Digital Audit

Website & SEO

Sells beans well online, but under-promotes the flagship café — no dedicated local landing page or crawlable digital menu to close that gap.

📍

Google Business Profile

Strong 4.6★ rating, but under-used — infrequent posts and no consistent pattern of personalized review replies.

📱

Brand Consistency

Mismatched handles across platforms, and a brand voice that reads as distant rather than warm and welcoming.

The Core Challenge

Curious Life Coffee Roasters is Jaipur's specialty coffee pioneer, operating its flagship 'RED' outlet with supreme seed-to-cup control. But as the Indian artisanal coffee market expands at roughly 11% annually, the brand faces intense pressure from tech-savvy national chains like Starbucks and Third Wave, plus agile boutique rivals like Half Light. The objective was to identify digital-physical friction points, brand-name inconsistency across platforms, and gaps in digital visibility.

SWOT Breakdown

Strengths

  • First-mover authority — Jaipur's leading third-wave specialty pioneer.
  • Seed-to-cup governance: small-batch roasting, direct-trade estate beans.
  • Premium workspace — valued by remote workers.

Weaknesses

  • Menu rigidity alienates casual buyers.
  • No public Wi-Fi, poor cellular signal.
  • Service bottlenecks during peak hours.

Opportunities

  • Tier-2 scaling ahead of national chains.
  • D2C e-commerce — beans, gear, subscriptions.
  • Tourism partnerships.

Threats

  • Boutique rivals like Half Light with better amenities.
  • Fast expansion from Starbucks & Third Wave.
  • Supply inflation on premium green beans.

Retail Sales Performance Dashboard

A self-directed case study turning a raw e-commerce transaction log into a decision-ready dashboard — segmenting revenue by category, season, and customer type to answer the questions a retail manager would actually ask. Built to practice KPI design, customer segmentation, and dashboard storytelling using a sample dataset.

Top Category

Electronics leads at ₹3.59L in revenue — nearly 3x Beauty — driven by a higher average order value rather than order volume.

💳

Average Order Value

₹9,244.50 per order overall, with Debit Card transactions running highest — worth testing against payment-method incentives.

🔁

New vs Returning

76% of orders come from new customers — a strong acquisition signal, but a retention gap the business should act on.

+ View full case study (business questions, KPI table, live dashboard)

The Core Challenge

Starting from a flat transaction log of 100 orders across four product categories, the goal was to answer the questions a retail or marketing manager actually asks day to day: which categories drive revenue, how new and returning customers behave differently, and which channels and payment methods correlate with higher spend — then present it as a dashboard a non-technical stakeholder could filter and explore themselves, rather than a static report.

Business Questions Explored

  • Which product category contributes the most revenue, and does it also carry the highest average order value?
  • Do new and returning customers spend differently, and which segment should retention efforts prioritize?
  • Does device type or payment method correlate with order value?
  • Is revenue seasonal, or fairly stable across the period?

Approach

Cleaned and segmented the raw transaction data by category, season, gender, device, payment method, and customer type, then designed KPI cards and cross-filtering charts around the business questions above — rather than charting every column by default. The dashboard lets a viewer click any filter combination (e.g. "Electronics" + "New customers") and watch every chart and KPI update together — the same interaction model used in tools like Power BI or Tableau.

The Core Challenge

Regal Look is a unisex salon that opened in 2025 in Pragati Nagar, Ajmer, offering 30+ hair and skin services with a "his & hers, every chair" positioning. It launched with no logo, no consistent visual identity, and no social presence — competing for attention in a neighbourhood market where trust and word-of-mouth decide footfall. The brief was to give the salon a premium-but-approachable identity, a repeatable content system its owner could actually sustain, and a simple path from "saw a post" to "booked on WhatsApp."

Brand Identity

A maroon-and-gold monogram logo anchors the system, paired with a flexible poster template (editorial hero shots, festival variants, and info-dense service flyers) so every post — from a Vogue-style brand poster to a billboard mockup — reads as the same salon.

Story Formula & Funnel

Every Story follows the same three beats — Attention → Proof/Transformation → Booking CTA — closing on a single, repeated instruction: message the salon's WhatsApp number to book. The overall funnel is deliberately linear: Content → Engagement → Trust → WhatsApp Enquiry → Booking, with the offers below used as the final nudge.

  • Women's Hair + Skin Package
  • Monthly Grooming Membership

Companion Website

Alongside the campaign, I built and shipped a local landing page for the salon — giving it a searchable, credible web presence to back up the social content and QR-code bookings on every poster.
